Regardless of the size of a project, we offer a full interior design management service where we take responsibility for the liaison with contractors, ensure the project runs in a timely fashion and without any hassle to our clients. With fully qualified fitters, we offer a full installation service.

1 Concept Design & Space Planning
After an initial consultation, we will create an interior design concept taking into account our clients’ specific requirements, the history of the building and its proposed function. From here the interior scheme will follow in the form of sample and mood boards. These will look at all the materials to be used in the project and their finishes as the balance of texture, colour and pattern is an important factor in the end result. Our team will provide sketches and technical drawings, where applicable, looking at the rooms’ layout, lighting diagrams and wall elevations to enable our clients’ to visualise the end result. We can even provide perspective photographic style CAD drawings should you wish.
2 Hand Made Soft Furnishings
At Amy Nicholas, we have a fabulous sewing team who can create the most stunning soft furnishings all hand made to the highest of standards. In the work room, we offer premium products, such as linings, interlinings and duck feather cushion inners, which reflect in the creation of the finest drapes, blinds and cushions. On completion of the soft furnishings, our expert fitters will install, hang and dress each window dressing to put the finishing touches to the project.
3 Furniture Design
Here at the studio we have an extensive furniture range for you to select from. We have readymade pieces and custom made pieces where you can chose your own fabric for upholstery or your own paint/wood finish. Our vast collection of Italian, French, Spanish and English custom made furniture means that you can not only personalise each piece but create a unique item exclusively for you. If you want something completely bespoke, our team will design you your own unique piece of furniture to meet your exact requirements. If, however, you want a completely bespoke item, our team can design you a piece to reflect your 7piece using traditional hand-crafted methods. As the majority of our bespoke items are made locally, we can offer our clients the unique opportunity to see their furniture develop at every stage of the making and finishing process. We also offer a full kitchen and bathroom design and implementation service.
4 Lighting Design & Control
As an integral part of any interior scheme, we offer a full lighting design service for your project. Our chosen Electrical firm are highly qualified with a wealth of experience to provide a full installation service including full lighting control systems should you require them.
5 Audio Visual & Home Cinemas
With a back ground in technology and audio visual installations, we have the knowledge and experience to design you a state of the art AV system, Home Automation system and dedicated Home Cinema. Merging the latest in cutting edge technology and up-to-the minute interior trends, we alongside our partnered company, Intellexa, will provide you with a future proof control & AV System.
6 Event Design & Staging
With a passion for design, the team at Amy Nicholas Interior Design will also create a stunning and unique concept for any event you may be hosting. Whether it be a wedding, christening, birthday or corporate party, we will work closely with you to create a breath taking back drop to ensure you have the perfect day. We will work around the clock to ensure that your chosen venue is styled and finished on time so that your event will go without hitch. We also offer a full sourcing and decoration service for seasonal festivities such as Christmas where we will find you the perfect tree installed with decorations chosen to your meet your requirements.
